Dragon Collection

All of my works which the main subject is a dragon

This is a sketch I made by hand using a pencil in my sketchbook. This piece demonstrates my basic understanding of animalistic anatomy and muscle structure, as I attempted to keep the dragon's proportions reasonable. I also wanted to see how I could sketch a unique head and jaw shape, as most of my dragon designs tend to look somewhat the same.

Gus the River Dragon

This is a sketch I made of a river dragon- which I have named "Gus"- swimming through a river. I drew this piece by hand with a pencil in my sketchbook. It's an experimental piece, which I attempted to use various pencil strokes to create texture and shading using a photo I've taken of an actual river as reference.

Forest Dragon

This is my interpretation of what a forest dragon would look like. I drew it in Autodesk Sketchbook as an experiment for light rays, animalistic proportions, color balancing, and dynamic shapes/poses.
